Hopkins, Belize is a wonderful small Garifuna beach town where shirts and shoes are optional and the people are friendly and warm. Tricia built the Inn as her version of a family’s summer house on Fire Island. Where everyone lives like one big happy family. The rooms are all spacious and different, some for families or the backpackers traveling together as a group, some for privacy, some for doing their own thing with a full kitchen in the separate Cultural house with a stove and refrigerator, a loft and 2 double beds. Pure cultural, made from the indigenous woods that are on the property and thatched with the big windows that allows a view and the strong breeze from the sea. She calls it the house that Elvis built.
Spend a day, or week, or month of leisurely beach walks, scenic lagoon boat rides, watching the manatees, biking through the village of Hopkins, hearing the drums , and healing rest. Lots of hammocks and beach chairs for sun bathing and quiet time reading With rooms starting at $12.50/ US a night any budget can be accommodated. We have camping and RV area at $10.00
