Comment: We can still taste the homemade bread and the fish fresh from the ocean. Now that we have returned home, memories of Kismet Inn waft over us in times of stress and we relive the peace we felt during our visit. Your gracious hospitality and kindness will remain in our hearts until our next journey. May our paths cross again soon!  With many thanks,  The Padfield family

Comment: We had such a great time! Thank you Tricia!! We loved our nice bungalow especially being able to see from our bed the red sun rising off the sea! And the amazing traveller tree in the garden, the armadillo, the pineapple trees, the flowers, the delicious fruits for breakfast, and your fantastic jokes!! We had so much fun on the boat tour in the lagoon or watching Casper making his beautiful fishing boat on the shore and always in the evening with your excellent food and humor. See you again!!

Comment: Wow! what can I say??? All I have from my time at Kismet are thousands of happy memories. From the beautiful beaches to the incredible food, dolphins jumping in the sea, freshly baked bread, freshly caught fish, trying to grow tomatoes, swimming in the warm sea, meeting all the other incredible visitors and most importantly getting to know Tricia. I have never met before such an excentric, entertaining, hospitable, kind and thoughtful host. Tricia, thank you for making my stay in Hopkins, and in Belize truly unforgettable.

Comment: wow, kismet inn, a fabulously located guest house with a monstrous amount of character! The 2 months at kismet we helped build a veggie garden, re-thatched the balcony with palm leaves from the local jungle, swam with barracudas and a mass of other tropical fish in the warm caribbean seas! The bread was fantastic, The village and surrounding areas are rich in garifuna culture, tricia and elvis are the best and most genuine of people you will ever meet! Thank you for entering our life! xx

Comment: What great time! The food, fishing, beach, Elvis, Barbara, Tricia, and Willie! Great time at Kismet Inn. It was a real taste of the local life that we could not experience anywhere else. It was a one of a kind experience. To future guest, if you're exciting and having enough fun, Tricia has been known to sing and dance! Thanks for letting us stay with you.

Comment: Thank you, TriciaWhile travelling Belize, Hopkins was an incredible find...the Garifuna culture, local drum circles, learning to dance to punta rock, local foods. Then walking the beach one day I wandered up to the Kismet Inn. This was the most incredible find of all. After ten minutes talking to you and the gang and I felt so totally laid back I stayed...great food, great laughs, funky decor. You didn't offer me a 5 star resort, you offered 5 star fun. Someday I hope to return.

Comment: Really nice place by the ocean with welcoming people. A place that makes you feel like home and which has the best bread of Latin America! If you go fishing and you catch a fish, Trisha would be happy to cook it for you and we can tell that it's delicious :-) In short, we had such a good time that it was hard to leave! We'll be back!

Comment: Kismet Inn was by far and away the best place we stayed during the entire 6 weeks of travelling in Central America. Tricia went out of her way to make us feel at home and help us set up fishing trips. The food's great and the company is even better! Thank you so much!
